Two Prep Graduates Named Academic All Americans
June 15th, 2023
Two recent Prep graduates have been named as among the nation’s finest student athletes. Tatiana Dalton-Spilca ’23 and Alex Jeffries ’23 were named to the 2023 Academic All-American Team.
Each year, the National High School Coaches Association (NHSCA) honors the best student athletes in the country, representing 22 sports.
To qualify, the student athletes must carry at least a 3.6 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
Nominees are recognized by being placed on the first, second, or honorable-mention teams based on their achievements in the classroom and the field of competition. The NHSCA received a record number of nominees, and the selection process was extremely competitive this year.
Dalton-Spilca was an Odyssey Scholar and tennis player at Prep. Jeffries excelled in basketball and soccer. Congrats, Sundevils!
