Sandia Prep is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Lead Custodian. This person, under the direction of the Facilities Director, will be in charge of maintaining the quality and cleanliness of the Sandia Prep campus as well as directing the night custodians to ensure all standards are being met. This is an evening shift, Tuesday through Saturday. In addition to directing the staff, custodians are responsible for: Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms/bathrooms using established practices and procedures Cleaning, dusting, and wiping furniture; sweeping, mopping, or vacuuming floors Empty/clean wastebaskets and trash containers Cleaning and stocking restrooms Assist with setting up facilities for meetings, classrooms, conferences, and events. Strip, clean, buff, and apply floor sealer and floor finish to hard surface floors, and vacuum and shampoo carpets Use and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools, including buffers, auto scrubbers, extractors, high-pressure washers, high-speed buffers, vacuums, brooms, mops, and squeegees, for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, and furniture Additional duties as needed to maintain the 30-acre facilities Requirements 2 years of custodial experience, preferably in a school environment. Experience with floor buffers, scrubbers, extractors, a plus. MSDS Sheets Detail-orientated. Punctual and reliable attendance Bilingual preferred Must have a valid Driver’s License and pass a thorough background and drug screening process Skills Communication skills, attention to detail, following directions, comprehension, calculating, reading, writing, speaking, evaluating, and organizing. Requirements

2 years of custodial experience, preferably in a school environment. Experience with floor buffers, scrubbers, extractors, a plus.
MSDS Sheets
Detail-orientated.
