The course offers comprehensive instruction in all tested areas -- Reading, Writing and Language, and Math -- while familiarizing students with the exam’s structure, timing, and question types.
Students will use the online Magoosh SAT program, which provides proven test-taking strategies, targeted content review aligned with SAT standards, and effective time-management techniques to help maximize scores. Magoosh recommends approximately 30 hours of total practice, so students should expect to complete some work outside of class time.
Ms. Ortega will support students through guided practice, diagnostic assessments, and practice tests, helping them identify strengths and areas for growth and develop personalized study plans. If a student is absent, they can still access Magoosh to complete class assignments.
The goal of this course is to ensure students feel prepared, confident, and ready to perform their best on the SAT exam offered on campus on Monday, April 27, 2026.
