Happiness is great musical theater! Join us for our latest collaboration with Landmark Musicals, You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown. Based on the beloved Charles Schulz comic strip, Charlie Brown and the entire Peanuts gang explore life’s great questions as they play baseball, struggle with homework, sing songs, swoon over their crushes, and celebrate the joy of friendship. Musical numbers include "My Blanket and Me," "The Kite," "The Baseball Game," "Little Known Facts," "Suppertime," and "Happiness." Guaranteed to please audiences of all ages!

Numerous Prep students, faculty, and alumni are involved in the production. Prep student Katya Ivanchov '25 plays Snoopy. 

The show runs weekends from July 19 - 28 on the Frank and Dolores Hines Stage at Sandia Prep. Tickets are $12 for youth and students; $21 for seniors; and $24 for adults. Showtimes are:

• Friday, July 19, at 7:00 p.m.
• Saturday, July 20, at 7:00 p.m.
• Sunday, July 21, at 2:00 p.m.
• Friday, July 26, at 7:00 p.m.
• Saturday, July 27, at 7:00 p.m.
• Sunday, July 28, at 2:00 p.m.

The July 21 matinee will be a relaxed performance, intended to be sensitive to, and accepting of, audience members who may benefit from a gentler theater environment. These performances are open to all; however, they are intentionally modified to accommodate patrons with sensory and vestibular sensitivities, anxiety, dementia, autism spectrum disorders, learning differences, or challenges attending the theater.
