Sandia Prep is pleased to welcome Alicia Marcell as the new Major Gifts/Development Director. A native New Mexican, Alicia has always held a deep admiration for Sandia Prep and is thrilled to be part of the community she has long respected.

Alicia brings a robust background in development and fundraising, having held key roles at Presbyterian Healthcare Foundation and most recently at the Lensic Performing Arts Center, as part of her nearly 20 years in the nonprofit sector.

Alicia is eager to apply her expertise to advance Sandia Prep’s mission, focusing on enhancing the culture of philanthropy, strengthening departmental relationships, and launching new initiatives to increase major and planned giving.

Outside of work, Alicia enjoys traveling with her son, Turner, and husband, Nate, staying active through regular workouts, and attending local events. She loves patronizing local businesses and appreciates that there is always something to do in New Mexico.

Alicia is excited to contribute her passion and skills to the Sandia Prep community.
