When you contribute to Prep’s Annual Fund, you are benefiting each and every Sandia Prep student.
These gifts have an immediate impact. Tuition covers 90% of the cost needed to ensure students gets the exceptional school experience they deserve. The remaining 10% is covered by Prep community fundraising and gift-giving.

student leadership
At Sandia Prep, we're dedicated to cultivating leadership skills that extend beyond the classroom. Many of our programs are designed with a student-led curriculum, embracing project-based learning as a cornerstone of our educational approach.
Our Outdoor Leadership Program equips students with the skills to be leaders in the great outdoors, fostering self-confidence, teamwork, and decision-making in challenging environments. Meanwhile, our Entrepreneurial Studies Program empowers future business leaders to think creatively and take innovative approaches to problem-solving.
Within our campus, our Student Government Association provides students with a platform to have a leadership voice, honing their skills in decision-making and advocacy. Even in the arts, our theater program empowers students to take the director's chair, leading their own productions.

Our mission is to create innovative classrooms, interactive learning areas, resourceful libraries, inspiring common areas, outdoor learning environments, and dedicated arts and cultural centers. These transformations will provide our students with an educational environment that fosters creativity, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. Transformative technology
Allowing students and faculty to connect, collaborate, and communicate—both within the classroom and with the global community—is critical to today’s educational environment. Technology has the potential to transform the learning experience, allowing students to go beyond the role of consumers of information to being producers of digital content created from many different ideas and subject areas that can be shared with anyone, anywhere.
Sandia Prep’s vision for a transformative technology environment includes:
- Updating our Digital Media & Communications computers to edit 4k and 8k film
- A DesignLab refresh that includes Pre-Engineering, Architecture, and DareDevil Design programs
- Technology refresh for Saunders Library
- Projectors in both West Gym and Field House with retractable screens
- A high-production color printer for the Visual Arts Program
- 15 small-form-factor desktop computers for Science Program
- Lab 8 technology retrofit, including laptops, modular computer furniture, and interactive touch screens
