Favorite Book I re-read The Blue Sword by Robin McKinley about once every 3 years. It made a big impression on me back in middle school because it was the first fantasy book I'd read with a main character who was a sword-wielding woman. Now, it's comfort food for my brain. What's your secret skill? I am pretty darn good at a wide variety of card games popular in the MidWest--cribbage, sheepshead, euchre, or pinochle, anyone? What do you enjoy most about Sandia Prep? My favorite part is the sense of whimsy--especially during Lion & Unicorn Day and Color Day--the students aren't afraid to have be themselves and have fun.
