Every summer, the IT Department hires current Prep students to help with a range of tech projects.
They assist in building computer labs for SummerPrep classes (like Robotics and Digital Photography), repairing Macs and PCs, and handling networking tasks such as running cable and testing network drops.
A highlight for many is building PCs from scratch—installing motherboards, power supplies, graphics cards, and more. Our student techs, many of whom love gaming and coding, gain a deeper appreciation for how hardware and software work together.
Thanks to you, Sandia Prep was named Albuquerque’s Best Private School in 2023- let’s do it again!
