Sometimes we have to let go of what is familiar in order to grow.

What's your secret skill or something people might be surprised to learn about you?
I may have majored in music, but I have also spent years studying how the mind works. Maybe someday I'll have a second job in research! And once upon a time...I won a free-throw contest with a granny shot at half-court.

How do you like to spend your downtime?
I have five kids and three grandkids. Even though they live out of state, I am always finding ways to connect with them. I love exploring new ideas and solving problems. I also like to volunteer and meet new friends in NM and abroad. (Especially Africa)

What do you enjoy most about Sandia Prep?
Prep feels like an adventure: something new, different, and real. Music is a language of connection, and there is nothing better than creating art together in the choirs and musicals. I love watching students find their place here!
