Pari Noskin Taichert '75 – Author / Journalist / PR pro (University of Michigan)

Pari Noskin Taichert '75 is a noted author, national award-winning journalist and PR pro. Through the University New Mexico Press, Pari has published The Clovis Incident, The Belen Hitch, and The Socorro Blast. She was nominated for Agatha Awards for her first two books. She is also the founder of the Anthony-nominated weblog, Pari earned her BA in Asian Studies, with honors, at the University of Michigan and spent one year at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her MSW, in cross-cultural social work, is also from the U of M. Currently the '75 grad works at UNM as a community liaison for the Brain and Behavioral Health Institute and program manager in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. Her hobbies include writing, cooking, laughing and learning whenever – and wherever – she can.
