What Parents Are Saying

As a parent, I love that my daughter is always happy to go to SummerPrep — and she has great stories about her day when I pick her up. I like the sports and outdoor activities that are available, and the musical theater production is always fantastic! There is always a strong staff presence and that’s important to me. Sarah has been attending SummerPrep since she was very small and it has always felt extremely safe and caring.

Our son was the youngest and smallest camper at SummerPrep last year. The older students were so kind: they greeted him with big smiles every morning, took him under their wing, and helped him find his way, get lunch, and navigate the campus. By the end of the summer, he didn't want to leave! Our son talked about the friends he made at SummerPrep. His confidence increased, not only from appearing on stage, but also from interacting with so many people each day at SummerPrep. I was particularly impressed by the student teachers, who went out of their way to make him feel comfortable.

What Students Are Saying

SummerPrep has given me valuable and unique opportunities. I’ve been able to pursue my interests—and discover new ones—while meeting new people!

I enjoy the variety of classes and different opportunities every year. I love our SummerPrep teachers -- and the high school students who assist them. Some of my favorite classes are sewing (especially making costumes for the play), archery, all the levels of clay and sculpting classes, and photography.

I took my first digital filmmaking class at SummerPrep in 4th grade; it inspired my interest in and love for filmmaking. The variety of classes kept my day interesting and I got to try so many different things (like comedy improv and creative writing). SummerPrep also offers great sports camps where you can work on your skills in a fun setting.
