SummerPrep, Sandia Prep's acclaimed summer program, offers more than 80 outdoor, academic, art and sports classes for students entering kindergarten through 12th grade. This year you'll discover lots of new classes, including many new opportunites for middle and high school students this year. Rock climb, build a web site, explore space, create a digital filmor or solve a crime... These adventures and many more await you at SummerPrep 2008!
SummerPrep classes are small, so each child receives personalized instruction. Classes are offered during two consecutive three-week sessions.
READAK advanced study skills courses will be offered June 2-6 and June 9-13. This special study course for those entering grades 6–12 is designed to help students develop enhanced reading and study habits. It focuses on textbook study and strategies for maximizing comprehension and retention of academic material. Key course topics are effective note-taking, pre-reading, time management, test preparation, and developing personal study systems.

Extended Care
The regular day at SummerPrep is 8:00 a.m. - 3:15 p.m. Before Care and After Care are available for an additional cost; a fully extended day is 7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
