Has your child dreamed of solving crimes, climbing a mountain or making his or her own movies? Every child dreams of adventure. This summer is the chance to make that possible, with more than 80 outdoor, academic, arts and sports classes for K-12 offered at SummerPrep 2010.

Exciting new classes this summer include: Art, Photography & Filmmaking: The Afternoon Camp (grades 4-8); Sea Kayaking on Puget Sound; International Mountain Bike Touring; The Creative Writing Workshop (grades 8-12); ACT Prep Course (grades 10-12); Football Clinic; and Playwriting Workshop (grades 3-8).

Along with new course offerings, many tried and true favorites return, including: backpacking, rockclimbing, musical theater (Jungle Book and Guys and Dolls, Jr.), guitar, digital filmmaking, clay, puppetmaking, dance, crimebusters science and space exploration, just to name a few. Plus, our classes are small and students receive personalized attention.

This year, we are offering Come and Play With Me!, a new all-day program for children in grades K-3. Directed by Melissa Bentley, Manzano Day School’s early childhood professional, this program offers young
children an opportunity to learn and develop through multi-sensory play.
