Noche de Arte: A Night to Remember
More than 330 people gathered at the Hyatt Regency Downtown on April 25 to take part in the third Noche de Arte, Sandia Prep’s biennial auction gala.
Dinner guests sipped signature lime green cocktails while bidding on an array of more than 80 silent auction items and listening intently as Dallas auctioneer Louis Murad talked up a lively auction of 20 items including trips to the Mayan Riviera and Paws Up Resort. New this year was the Lion and Unicorn stuffed animal drawing for two half-carat diamond pendant necklaces donated by Rio Grande – The Bell Group.
Noche de Arte 2008 raised netproceeds of$116,290 which will be used to helpfund the School’s campus buildingand renovation program. Additionsinclude the new 23,380-square-footField House which opens this springand a 24,000-square-foot Center forCreative and Performing Arts, onwhich construction is set to beginlater this summer.
