A group of Sandia Prep students and families are preparing for an incredible journey. Next spring, they will embark on an educational tour to explore China's historical and cultural treasures, including the Great Wall, Forbidden City, Terracotta Warriors and Peking Opera. Ying Ding, a China native and the director of Sandia Prep’s Mandarin program, will lead the tour. Learn more.

Sandia Prep senior Kristin Lynn '13 is a first-place state winner for the National Peace Essay Contest. She has received a $1,000 Peace Scholarship for writing an outstanding essay on "Women in the Peace Building Process" and has been invited to represent New Mexico in the national competition in Washington, D.C. Mollie Kleyboecker '09 was honored with Clark University's Merit Award, which recognizes student-athletes who have had a significant impact on their sport. A graduating senior at Clark (Worchester, MA), she is a two-time NCAA Qualifier and the first woman in the University's history to complete the 100-yard backstroke in less than a minute. Learn more.
