Sandia Preparatory School’s College Counseling Seminars encompass the topics significant to success in the college selection and admission process.  The following seminars and events will be available for the 2009 – 2010 calendar year.  Please mark your calendar for the seminars that interest you. 

Monday, January 11, 2010 • 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. • SPS Theater
Junior College Launch
This seminar is the first official meeting for 11th grade students and parents, which introduces the college selection and admisson. This program is mandatory for all juniors.

Letting Go/Transitions and Pathways

The “Letting Go” seminar gives 12th grade students and parents a chance to reflect upon the college admission process with an emphasis on understanding the college years.  This seminar will address important issues of transition and concrete situations that arise for first year college students.  A guest College partner will provide insights from a post-secondary perspective.

ABQ Academy, Bosque School and Sandia Prep 11th grade students and parents are invited for a college application workshop (Case Studies) facilitated by college partners and hosted by ABQ Academy
