Thank a Teacher Day – Grads Showing Gratitude
To celebrate National Teacher Appreciation Day – the first Tuesday in May – and to honor the dozens of faculty and staff, past and present, that have forever changed the lives of Sandia Prep students, the Sandia Prep Alumni Association is putting together a wall of thanks with personal notes from alumni to faculty members. How will Sandia Prep participate? The “Grads Showing Gratitude” cards are just $5 a piece and can be purchased online in less than three minutes. Film History Summer Class for Adults
When: Tuesday evenings, June 4 – July 9, 2013 from 6:30-9:30pm
Where: McCall Family Theater
Back by popular demand, Ron Briley will offer his Summer Film History class for Sandia Prep alumni and parents. Participants will gather in Sandia Prep’s McCall Family Theater to screen and discuss the films of Alfred Hitchcock. Among the films to be screened are Rope (1948), Rear Window (1954), Vertigo (1958), North by Northwest (1959), Psycho (1960), and The Birds (1963). Don’t worry, there will be no essay assignments! Albuquerque Meet & Greet – Featuring ‘Geeks who Drink’

Join us for our fourth annual Albuquerque Meet & Greet. It’s an adults-only night of complimentary drinks and appetizers. Plus, the popular pub quiz show, Geeks who Drink, will host trivia rounds.
Santa Claus is coming...to Sandia Prep!
When: December 2013
Where: The Black Box
Avoid the long lines and parking hassles at the mall – bring your kiddos and your camera to Sandia Prep to meet Mr. Claus. We’ll have a professional Santa ready to listen to holiday wishes and pose for photos. We’ll also have an area set-up for those who would simply prefer a festive backdrop. Light refreshments will be served.
Sandia Prep has partnered with the APS Title I Homeless Project to help warm Albuquerque kids this season. Santa participants are encouraged to bring donations of new gloves, hats and/or scarves for disadvantaged elementary, middle school and high school students. OR, participants can make a donation to Sandia Prep’s Financial Aid Program.

Recent grads are invited back to campus for a complimentary New Mexican feast. It’s your chance to mingle with former classmates and teachers, while giving Seniors the inside scoop on what really happens during that first semester of college.
Following the lunch and discussion panel, you're invited to visit your favorite faculty members in their classrooms.
