Elizabeth Kirschner, Chair
Liz Kirschner graduated from the University of New Mexico with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. She is currently a Proposal Consultant for Optum Rx a division of United HealthGroup. Liz and her husband Joel have a son Richard who graduated from Prep in May 2014 and is currently studying International Studies with a minor in Chinese at the University of New Mexico.
Todd Sandoval '91, Vice Chair
Todd Sandoval ’91 is a Sandia Prep alumnus and earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of New Mexico in 1995. Todd is President of Sandia Office Supply, Midway Office Supply, and Matthews Office Supply. He is married to Sandia Prep alumna Cristine Sandoval ’91, and daughter Lauren ’21 is an 8th grader at Prep.
Vahid Staples '91, Treasurer
Vahid Staples '91, a Sandia Prep alumni, has spent the majority of his professional career in Higher Education and Public Finance. Vahid has worked for the University of Washington, the New Mexico Department of Finance and Administration, and is now at the University of New Mexico. He has a degree in business administration, and in his position as a Budget Officer for the University, he oversees the University’s capital budgets and expenditures as well as the bond portfolio and debt service.
Patrick L. Westerfield, Secretary
Patrick L. Westerfield is a third generation New Mexico lawyer who is passionate about education, helping children at risk, and world peace. Patrick has been married to Sharon Westerfield for 30 years, and they have five children from around the globe, including their son Marc who is a senior at Sandia Prep. Patrick D. Allen, At-Large
Patrick D. Allen is a founding shareholder of the law firm Yenson, Allen & Wosick, P.C. He received his Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and Political Science from James Madison University in 1988, and his Juris Doctor from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary in 1991. Pat is married to Kim Allen; their daughter, Audrey, attended Prep from 6th through 12th grade, graduating in 2014.
Dr. Aric Coffman
Shari received her bachelor's degree from the University of North Dakota at Grand Forks, and her Juris Doctor., cum laude, from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minn. She is a partner at RMC Lawyers, P.A. where she practices in the areas of Labor and Employment Law and Commercial Litigation. Shari and her husband, Mark, have four children. Their oldest son, Chad ‘22, is a 7th grader at Prep.
Susan (Przekurat) Epstein '91
Susan (Przekurat) Epstein '91 has been an active member of the Prep community for more than 25 years. Following her graduation in 1991, Susan kept her class connected with reunions and served as a class agent before being named Sandia Prep’s Alumni Association President. In 2013, Susan joined Prep’s Board of Trustees. She has worked with several volunteer committees, including Trustee Recruitment, Alumni Weekend Steering Committee, and Long Range Planning. Susan and her husband Ethan '91, another Prep alum, own Tax Credit Alliance. They have three children, Austin ’21, Kaden, and Riley.
Pete Henderson holds a Bachelor's Degree in General Management from the University of New Mexico, as well as the Certified Investment Management Analyst designation from the Wharton School of Finance, University of Pennsylvania and The Investment Management Consultants' Association. Pete is a Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager at UBS Financial Services. Pete and his wife Tracy have three boys: Jack '18, Sam '21 and Peyton '23.
Jerry M. Lovato
Jerry Lovato, P.E. is the Executive Engineer for the Albuquerque Metropolitan Arroyo Flood Control Authority (AMAFCA). Jerry earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of New Mexico. Jerry has seen two daughters graduate from Sandia Prep, Scout ’14 and Keely ’16.
April Camilli Marker '93
April Camilli-Marker ’93 is a graduate of Sandia Prep and is dedicated to the long-term influence that the school has on our community. April’s family has a long history at Sandia Prep. Her two older sisters attended middle school at Prep, and herself and three others graduated from Prep. She says she is looking forward to her children Colton (age 7) and Rylie (age 6) calling Prep “their school” someday.

Brandon Saylor '03 is currently the President of the Sandia Prep Alumni Association and a member of the Board of Trustees. After graduating from Sandia Prep, Brandon went on to get his bachelors degree at the University of Colorado at Boulder. He is currently living in Albuquerque, working as a broker for Colliers International, a commercial real estate brokerage firm.
