About Sandia Prep
Our approach
We provide remarkable opportunities for intellectual and personal growth within a challenging and balanced program for students in grades 6-12.
Our innovative college prep curriculum prepares students for success in college — and beyond — and inspires each to find and achieve his or her purpose in the world.
Our rigorous, well-rounded curriculum is designed to educate the whole person.
What sets us apart?
We employ an integrated approach with a focus on writing, research and speaking.
Our unique program is designed to develop critical thinkers, creative problem-solvers and collaborative leaders.
Academics is our top priority, balance is our core value, and community makes us who we are.
A strong, diverse community
Our school is distinguished by a strong, diverse community and strong, enduring relationships.
Representing the face of Central New Mexico, Sandia Prep students come from approximately 70 different schools and 55 different zip codes.
Our faculty members come from a wide variety of backgrounds and cultures.
48% percent of students identify themselves as students of color and 35.4% receive financial aid. This year’s 6th grade is 57% diverse.
Parental involvement is not only welcomed; it is encouraged.
